Money could be tucked away for post-secondary school – Mayor

Sault Ste. Marie Mayor Christian Provenzano says he’d like to start moving money toward the Soo’s post-secondary institutions. He’s looking for council’s support later this month to earmark $100,000 in each year for the next three years to support Algoma University and Sault College’s plans that are consistent with the city’s FutureSSM plan.
The money, he proposes, should come from the city’s economic development fund, which totals $500,000 annually.
